LAP invests more than US$ 5 million in improvements at the Lima Airport to expand services at the current Jorge Chávez International Airport.

Callao, 11 May 2017.- Lima Airport Partners (LAP), operating company of the Jorge Chávez International Airport, reported that it has been making an investment of US$ 5,355,948.97 million with the aim of expanding some services at the current air terminal, with the aim of improving service to national and foreign users and passengers.

Las obras que se realizarán incluyen la ampliación del Check-in con 16 nuevas posiciones de atención (08 nuevos counters dobles), que estarán ubicados al lado izquierdo de la zona existente y contarán con señalización y monitores para asistencia a los pasajeros.
Cabe señalar que estas obras de ampliación generarán el cierre de un tramo del Hall Internacional por un periodo de dos meses (of the 10 mayo al 01 de julio aproximadamente).
in addition, se ampliará la Sala de Recojo de Equipaje Nacional y se implementarán 02 additional sashes. El proyecto incluye además nuevas facilidades operacionales, la remodelación del área existente del Hall de Llegadas Nacionales y un renovado arreglo comercial de la zona.

This time, realizaremos mejoras sustanciales en los servicios de Check-in y la Sala de Recojo, a fin de incrementar nuestra capacidad de atención, debido al aumento de nuevas operaciones por el ingreso de nuevas aerolíneas y crecimiento del flujo de pasajeros”, destacó Juan José Salmón, Gerente General de Lima Airport Partners.
