The request indicates that they need to renew their Houston route – Quito and vice versa with until 7 weekly frequencies with third party rights, fourth and fifth freedoms of the air. The planes that the airline will be able to operate, Although it does not imply that they are going to fly to Quito, they are:
- Boeing 737 (with which you currently operate).
- Boeing 747.
- Boeing 757 (usually operate).
- Boeing 767.
- Boeing 777.
- Airbus 319.
- Airbus 320.
the houston route – City of Panama – Quito does not currently operate.

Completely, It would be a great route without a doubt.
I don't have the exact date, but I had understood that Continental began its operations in Ecuador with flights from Houston to Guayaquil, and then Quito was added. What's more, for a while they also flew to Newark, but not sure if it was from both cities or just GYE. It was long before the merger, it was still mainland.
