The next 1 October, Avianca will gradually resume its flights between Colombia and Ecuador, after air operations were authorized from Bogota.

As reported by the airline, will initially operate 3 weekly flights between Bogota and Quito, from 15 October will increase to 4 weekly operations and for the 30 of the same month will be offered 7 weekly flights. In the case of the Bogota-Guayaquil route, which also starts the 1 October, it will have 4 weekly flights and from 30 October will offer a daily flight.

From the past 15 of June, Avianca already operates domestic flights between Quito, Guayaquil, Baltra and San Cristobal with several weekly frequencies, an average load factor close to 70% and with a punctuality of 95%.

The airline also announced that other international destinations that will gradually be operated from Bogotá in October are: Mexico City, São Paulo, Miami and New York., Cancún, Guatemala city, Peace, Punta Cana, Rio de Janeiro, Holy Cross of the Sierra, Santiago de Chile, San Salvador, Santo Domingo y Washington.

If the final trip is to Bogotá or a destination in the interior of Colombia, by government regulations, passengers will have to present a PCR test with a negative result issued for no more than 96 hours before boarding.
