The Ecuadorian Air Raid celebrates the 100 years of a historical event for the ecuadorian aviation, the first flight over the Ecuadorian Andes by Elia Liut in the Telegraph 1.

exactly the 04 November 2020, One hundred years will be celebrated since the first flight over the Ecuadorian Andes, where the Italian aviator Elia Liut Giusti together with the sponsorship of the newspaper El Telégrafo, made possible the arrival of an “El Telégrafo I” aircraft from the city of Guayaquil, to the city of Cuenca, materializing in a feat never seen before for the country.

In order to celebrate this first centenary, boost aviation, tourism and at the same time generate a greater aeronautical culture in the country, is that a group of pilots, Aviation enthusiasts and photographers come together to show the most beautiful corners of Ecuador from the air and thus remember the great feat of Elia Liut.

For this celebration, the realization of an "Ecuadorian Air Raid" similar to the one carried out by Elia Liut has been considered., Therefore, in coordination with the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, its execution has been planned from 01 November 2020, touring during 7 days approximately, the aerodromes of the coast, Sierra and East of the country.

For this event, the Cessna aircraft is considered the main aircraft. 172 (T-41) overpowered HC-CMF of the Ecuadorian Aviation School, the same one that will have the technical capabilities to be able to carry out all the planned routes and travel the entire country. The work team and the coordination of this raid, will be led by Cap. Bryan Miranda, commercial pilot and promoter of this idea.

The Embassy of Italy participates in this project, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, Public Media Company, Quiport, ONE, EPMSA and representatives of the Municipalities of Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca and other cities.
