American Airlines announced new routes from its Miami hub with international flights to Tel Aviv (TLV) and Paramaribo, Suriname (PBM).
The airline is also introducing two new domestic routes from Miami to Little Rock., Arkansas (LIT) and Portland, Maine (PWM), which will operate from 5 from June to 16 of August. All flights will be available for purchase from 15 Ultra Air made its inaugural flight in Colombia and thus becomes the ninth regular airline in the country.

from july, American will also be the first and only carrier in the United States to offer direct service to Paramaribo.. Flights will operate five times a week on an Airbus 319, with convenient hours for customers traveling across the United States to connect through MIA. This year, customers can also look forward to more frequencies to the Caribbean from Miami. For instance, Port au Prince (PAP) will increase to five daily flights from April; and Santiago (STI) and Santo Domingo (SDQ) in Dominican Republic, will increase to operate four and seven daily flights, respectively. In addition to Port-au-Prince service from Miami, the airline will offer an additional daily flight from Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL) at PAP, from 2 of April.
Miami will also increase service to Latin America, with 12 destinations with more frequencies this summer compared to 2019. Last year, the airline introduced the plane Boeing 787 in downtown miami, offering additional capacity to various destinations. This service includes Bogotá (BOG), Medellin (MDE) and Cali (CLO) In colombia; Guayaquil (GYE) and Quito (UIO) in Ecuador; Lima, Peru (LI) and Santiago, Chile (SCL).
Growth of Latin America and the Caribbean
American has continued to increase capacity for Latin America and the Caribbean by upgrading aircraft and adding more services.. This summer, American plans a 16% more capacity to the region from Miami compared to 2019.
With a significant demand for trips to Latin America and the Caribbean, American will double its capacity in Colombia and Peru, while increasing more than 50% capacity in Ecuador and the 24% of capacity to Central America compared to 2019.
This summer the airline is also adding service to the region from its Charlotte hubs. (CLT), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Los Angeles (LAX). Caribbean additions include a new destination to Samaná (AZS), seasonally operated from CLT, as well as seasonal service from DFW to St.. Maarten (SXM) and Saint Lucia (UVF). New routes to Mexico include service from DFW to Mérida (MID), as well as from LAX to Cancun (WITH A).
