The Spanish airline LEVEL announced a new direct route with flights between Barcelona and Lima from June 2026. Photo LEVEL

The long-haul route map from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport is about to expand. From 3 June 2026, LEVEL airline will inaugurate its new direct route to Lima (Peru), becoming the only operator to offer this non-stop route from Barcelona.

 

This new connection not only reinforces LEVEL's position as a leader in the Barcelona intercontinental market., but responds to a historical demand from leisure travelers, business and the VFR segment (Visiting Friends and Relatives).

LEVEL new airline in Lima

The route will have three weekly frequencies (Wednesday, friday and sunday). The schedules have been strategically designed to maximize connections at both hubs, allowing the passage from other points in Europe and America to be linked in an agile way.

Next, the detail of the frequencies extracted from the official programming:

  • Barcelona (BCN) – Lima (LI):
    • Departure: 13:55h
    • Arrival: 19:50h
    • Days: Wednesday, friday and sunday.
  • Lima (LI) – Barcelona (BCN):
    • Departure: 21:35h
    • Arrival: 17:25h (+1 day)
    • Days: Wednesday, friday and sunday.

With the launch of this route, LEVEL reinforces its commitment to the development of the Barcelona hub. In the words of Lucía Adrover, Chief Commercial & Network Officer de LEVEL:

Global connectivity

One of the strong points of this announcement is the network of connections that is enabled:

  • In Peru: Thanks to the agreements with Iberia, passengers will be able to connect from Lima with 17 additional destinations within the country.
  • In Europe: Travelers from Peru will be able to connect in Barcelona with the Vueling network, that offers more than 75 destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

The experience on board: Airbus A330-200

The route will be operated with the fleet of Airbus A330-200, configured to 311 passengers in two classes:

  • Premium Economy: Greater space, recline and exclusive comfort services.
  • Economy: With the Fly your Way concept, that allows you to personalize the experience (food pre-order, seat selection, etc.).

All seats have individual screens, more of 400 entertainment content and free WiFi for messaging services.

Prices and availability

Tickets are now available through official LEVEL channels and travel agencies, with an introductory rate from €319 each way.

With this addition, Lima joins the network of LEVEL destinations in South America (Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile) and United States (Boston, New York, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco).
