Avianca Ecuador will fly from Bogotá to Curaçao, Santa Cruz and Lima

Avianca Ecuador will fly from Bogotá to Curaçao, Santa Cruz and Lima

With request presented to the CNAC – National Aviation Councilón Civilian of Ecuador, Avianca Ecuador flyá from Bogotaá to Curacao, Santa Cruz and Lima as new destinations and routes for the airlineíecuadorian nea.

Within the plans of the airlineígrowth line for the 2018, where it is contemplated potentially fly from Ecuador to Buenos Aires and following the plans of the Avianca Holdings group, the recently renamed Avianca-Ecuador instead of AeroGal, has requested the following routes, of which 1 is new and another is resumed:

This request before the aero authorityáutica was already authorized on February 2018.

Guayaquil and/or Quito – Bogotaá – Curacao

This Avianca-Ecuador route is already operatedó previously, but she was suspended and returnedó to be flown by Avianca Colombia when the aerolíEcuadorian nea beganó to operate an additional frequency to Panamaá. At that time the route was leftó to operate AeroGal to increase a daily frequency to Panamaá, spaghettiéfrom Bogotá. The route to Aruba and Panamaá indicated below, before they were operated by Avianca Colombia.

Avianca Ecuador Quito Guayaquil Bogotá Curacao
Avianca Ecuador flies to Curaçao again with 7 weekly flights.

Currently, Avianca Ecuador operates the Guayaquil and/or Quito routes – Bogotaá – Aruba with up to 12 weekly frequencies and the Guayaquil and/or Quito route – Bogotaá – Panamá with up 25 weekly frequencies on Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft. In this order the route is increased Guayaquil and/or Quito – Bogotaá – Curaçao with up 7 weekly flights, which until now was operated by Avianca Colombia. All these routes have third, fourth and fifth freedoms of the air, so the aerosolínea can market its spaces in each of the destinations to and from.

Guayaquil and/or Quito – Bogotaá – Santa Cruz

This is a completely new route for Avianca-Ecuador, at least from Bogotá, since currently the airlineíEcuadorian company operates in Santa Cruz in Bolivia víin Lima with 7 weekly flights. Spaghettién the aerolíNea flies to La Paz, spaghettién from Lima, on flights previously operated by Taca or Lacsa.

Avianca Ecuador Quito Guayaquil Bogotá Santa Cruz Bolivia
Avianca Ecuador flyá to Santa Cruz, Bolivia with up to 7 weekly frequencies.

This new route Quito and/or Guayaquil – Bogotaá – Santa Cruz has been requested to operate until 7 weekly flights in Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft with rights to up to fifth freedom of the air.

This route was approved by the Ecuadorian and Colombian authority, but it was learned that Bolivia has initially denied the request, so the route has been postponed to start the 27 October 2018:

Bogota Avianca Ecuador Santa Cruz

Quito and / or Guayaquil – Bogotaá – Lima

This is a new order placed during the month of April, in which the aerosolínea requests to incorporate into its operating permitón, spaghettién, the Quito and/or Guayaquil Bogot routeá and/or Lima.

Avianca Ecuador Guayaquil Quito Lima Bogota

The requested route isá planned to operate with 7 weekly flights with up to fifth freedoms of the air on Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft.

It should be noted that these routes have already been authorized by Aerocivil (Colombian authority) and its start date is during the month of June, so alsoéIt won't be possibleíto see a new increase in the airline fleetínea, as wellén an increase in flight frequencies from Quito and Guayaquil to Bogotáá.

With this new assignmentón of routes in favor of Avianca Ecuador, the group seeks to release its planes for other routes from Colombia and take advantage of the bilateral agreements that Ecuador has, a más to optimize the use of Avianca Ecuador's fleet, that possibly during theñO 2018, continue to grow with these and other potential routes that will beístill analyzing.

  1. I disagree. Avianca Colombia should operate the route from Bogotá to Santa Cruz, I understand the Fifth Freedom but this route should be approved with Colombian crew.
