The Spanish Iberia honors Oswaldo Guayasamín within the framework of his growth in Ecuador and for the centenary of the artist's birth.
Iberia continues betting on Ecuador, in this case, joining the homage to Oswaldo Guayasamín that will be held in Madrid on the days 11 and 12 of June, on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the brilliant artist from Quito.
Iberia's participation in the Centenary of the birth of Guayasamín is part of its #Talentoabordo project, whose objective is to disseminate and promote various expressions of Spanish and Latin American culture in the near 50 countries where it flies.
New route to Guayaquil
Iberia has just announced its new Guayaquil-Madrid route (subject to government approval), your second destination in Ecuador. Iberia will operate this route from 13 December and with four frequencies a week and good connections with more than 100 Iberia destinations in Spain and Europe, which means the largest offer on the market.
Daily flights Quito-Madrid
What's more, from 1 of July, Iberia grows from six to seven weekly flights on the Quito-Madrid route, which will mean a growth of, about, a 16% seats annually.
Currently, Iberia operates a daily flight between Quito and Madrid, except friday, with its largest capacity aircraft, the Airbus A340/600.
The growth in Quito added to the new flights with Guayaquil, will mean an increase in Iberia's offer in Ecuador from 31%, shows the great commitment that the Spanish airline is making in this market.
What's more, last year Iberia celebrated the 50th anniversary of its flights to Ecuador and introduced its new Premium Economy cabin on its route between Quito and Madrid, designed for customers who usually fly in Economy class, but who are willing to pay a little more to travel with more comfort and additional services on board and on land.

The information is not right… Currently, Iberia operates a daily flight between Quito and Madrid, except TUESDAY, with the Airbus A340/600.
I think the same, although this information was sent by communication by the airline.
