A commemorative painting was made for the 40 years of the squad Hunters of the Ecuadorian Air Force by an Ecuadorian artist.

En las manos del artista Ingeniero Alejando «El Carnero» Jiménez, was entrusted with the mission of making a special painting for the celebration of the 40 years of the Ecuadorian Air Force Hunters squadron – FAE, belonging to the Combat Wing No.. 21, «Ayer hoy y Siempre Taura Vencer o Vencer», which operates from the Taura Air Base, in the province of Guayas.
The Combat Squad 2112 Cheetah is made up of aircraft:

- Cheetah D

Special thanks to the artist of this special commemorative painting for sharing the images that remind us of the painting of the 30 years of this squad, back then on the Mirage F1 FAE-806 plane, which can be seen in permanent exhibition at the Museum of Ecuadorian Air Force at the Mariscal Sucre Base in Quito, old city airport.
