The airline Aeroregional began flights to Store, destination where it will operate with up to 2 daily flights operating in the Catamayo City Airport.
Since its beginning of regular commercial domestic flights in Ecuador, and very quickly, Aeroregional already launched its fourth destination, Being the Catamayo City Airport Complex (operationally speaking) chosen for this purpose given its important market, through which annually pass more than 120 thousand passengers and that came to have a traffic of more than 300 thousand annual users.
I could not participate in this inaugural flight due to agenda issues, but the airline shared with me some photos and videos of this event that was long awaited by the population of the Province of Loja.

The flights of Aeroregional to Catamayo – Loja operate in the following approved schedules with 2 daily flights from Monday to Friday and one frequency on Sundays:
From Monday to Friday:
the morning flight:
- Flight RER-871 takes off from Quito at 6:00 hours and will land in Loja at 6:50 hours.
- Flight RER-870 takes off from Loja at 7:30 and will land in Quito at 8:20 hours.
the evening flight:
- Flight RER-873 takes off from Quito at 16:00 hours and lands in Loja at 16:50 hours.
- Flight RER-872 takes off from Loja at 17:30 hours and lands in Quito at 18:20 hours.
Sundays
- Flight RER-873 takes off from Quito at 15:55 hours and lands in Loja at 16:45 hours.
- Flight RER-872 takes off from Loja at 17:25 hours and lands in Quito at 18:15 hours.
