Quito Mariscal Sucre Airport inaugurates Pet Relief spaces

The Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport opens Pet Relief spaces for service animals and pets of passengers and visitors.

They are two special spaces designedñados for travelers' pets and one for private access.úwar tooén for visitors or family members who día a díThey arrive at Ecuador's main airport.

The airport is now pet-friendly and has facilities for pets toñíto or service can fulfill their needs and alsoén hydrate.

With this implementationón, Quito Airport becomes the first airport in the countryís in having this type of exclusive and inclusive spaces and alsoén is one of the first in all of Latin Americaérich in showing its commitment to providing services to all users, even pets like dogs or even, gatos.

In a joint work between the Municipality of Quito as promoter of this proposal and together with Corporación Quiport S.A, has been created 3 pet relief spaces for the use of animals inside the Quito airport, that have depówaste site, fundas plástatic, drinking fountains and hydrosanitary facilities. Some 400 pets and service animalsñO.

Lo más interesting about these spaces, is the cleaning system, which with the simple act of pressing a botón, water runá through the green area cleaning the different waste generated.

The three pet relief spaces are located in the following places:

  • Space público: next to the arrivals dooréstatic (southern sector of the taxi waiting area).
  • international area: located at the access to the bathroomsñdeparture lounge A8.
  • national area: located in Departures Halls D1, D2, D3 and D4.
