Avianca offers a discount on the redemption of miles from its LifeMiles program to fly on domestic flights within Ecuador.
With the intention of supporting the reactivation of domestic tourism in Ecuador, Avianca and LifeMiles started the Less miles promotion, more destinations with which passengers who have accumulated miles will be able to redeem them up to the 26 July 2020 for air tickets to fly between Quito, Manta or Guayaquil with a discount of up to 20% to fly between 1 of September and the 10 from December to 2020.
“We know that tourism and the economy are boosted when we visit and tour the different cities of the country. Therefore, From Avianca we are working to offer Ecuadorians several alternatives that allow them to buy tickets in a more accessible way and thus revisit different regions of Ecuador.. One of these is the option to buy discounted tickets with miles” said María Beatriz González, Avianca's commercial manager for Ecuador while recalling that the aviation industry has been one of the most affected by the closure of borders and the suspension of activities as a result of COVID-19.
During this month Avianca is operating flights from Quito to Manta and from Quito to Guayaquil. As reported by the airline, to restart operations in the domestic market, the program was implemented Avianca BioCare with which all the biosafety processes that passengers and collaborators must follow during all stages of the trip were established, in accordance with the recommendations of the International Air Transport Association (THERE IT IS) and the regulations of the Ecuadorian Government.
