Netherlands reopens its doors for tourism and updated its entry requirements for international flights since September.

From the 4 September 2021, they can enter the Netherlands as tourists, those who have a valid Schengen visa and are vaccinated according to the provisions of the EMA and WHO (see table below).

These travelers must present the vaccination certificate and fill out a health form. Meeting this basic requirement, they will no longer need to present proof PCR to boarding, nor to quarantine upon arrival. Nevertheless, a COVID-19 test is recommended upon arrival in the Netherlands.

Additional Information

  • All the passengers, vaccinated or not, must submit the completed and signed health declaration form: https://www.government.nl/topics/coronavirus-covid-19/documents/publications/2021/07/01/vaccine-declaration-covid-19
  • Those who do not have a Schengen visa and / or have not completed the vaccination scheme approved by the EMA and WHO, They will only be able to enter the Netherlands if their case falls under one of the exceptions authorized by the Dutch government in the essential reasons travel list.
  • Passengers traveling in connection through Amsterdam, must meet the requirements of their final destination, with regard to COVID-19 tests and documentation of entry or to board the flight.
  • It is no longer required to quarantine on arrival in the Netherlands for those passengers who present a complete vaccination card or certificate with the previous days indicated.
  • It is the responsibility of travelers to comply with the requirements for entry or transit through the Netherlands. The required forms are found at: https://www.government.nl/
