The airline Copa Airlines inaugurated new routes to and from two new destinations in America: Tulum, Mexico and Florianopolis, Brazil.

With the incorporation of these destinations, the airline expands its network to 85 destinations in 32 Central countries, On, North America and the Caribbean, the most extensive network in the region.

Copa already flies to Tulum and Florianópolis

Copa Airlines connects the magical city of Tulum, located in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, with the Hub of the Americas in Panama. This tourist destination located south of Quintana Roo in the Riviera Maya, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, It is famous for its wide variety of experiences. Visitors will be able to enjoy its rich archaeological offer, cultural and spiritual, as well as ecotourism parks, cenotes, until, gastronomy and nature reserves.

Tulum

This new connection becomes the airline's fifth destination in Mexico, joining Mexico City., Cancún, Guadalajara and Monterrey. Copa Airlines flight CM488 to Tulum will operate with four weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesday, friday and sunday, Leaving Panama at 07:45 a.m. (local time) and arriving at Tulum International Airport, Felipe Carrillo Puerto, at 10:19 a.m. (local time). The return flight CM499 will depart the same days from Tulum at 11:57 a.m., arriving in Panama at 02:23 p.m. (local time).

To continue strengthening its connectivity in the Brazilian market, Copa Airlines inaugurates a new route in Florianópolis, capital of the state of Santa Catarina. This city, affectionately called Floripa and known as the “Island of Magic”, offers more than 100 beaches with crystal clear waters and white sands, in addition to a rich culture and impressive natural landscapes.

Florianópolis becomes the airline's seventh destination in Brazil. This new route initially operates with three weekly frequencies: Tuesdays, thursday and sunday. Flight CM423 departs Panama at 03:23 p.m. (local time) and arrives at Hercílio Luz International Airport at 12:22 a.m. (local time). The flight back, CM424, leaves Florianópolis at 01:25 a.m., arriving in Panama at 06:30 a.m. (local time) the Wednesdays, friday and monday.

Copa Airlines currently operates an average of 360 daily flights through Hub of the Americas, the connection center with the most international flights in the region, located at Tocumen International Airport, on City of Panama, and from where it connects to 85 cities of 32 Northern countries, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
