The Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, David Collado and the low-price airline Arajet, announced today the opening of a new direct route between the city of Córdoba, Argentina and the paradisiac destination of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

With this new route, Arajet becomes the first international airline to offer direct flights between the Ingeniero Aeronáutico Ambrosio Taravella International Airport in the City of Córdoba and the Punta Cana International Airport, providing Argentine travelers with an accessible and comfortable option to enjoy the beaches, Dominican culture and hospitality. The flights will begin to be sold on Tuesday, July 1st and will operate from 8 November 2025, with an initial frequency of 3 flights per week, on mondays, thursday and saturday, contributing significantly to the bilateral tourist flow.
What's more, Arajet announced that it will resume its route Buenos Aires–Santo Domingo, with two weekly flights, on Monday and Friday, from 12 from December to 2025; and flights between Buenos Aires and Punta Cana are also increased to 13 weekly flights, thus expanding the range of options available for the Argentine market.
