Following its successful exit from the restructuring process under Chapter 11, Spirit Airlines announced a new expansion and restart of routes in Latin America and the Caribe.

• San Pedro Sula (SAP) – Houston (IAH): From 10 april 2025, Spirit will resume its flights between San Pedro Sula and Houston with 3 weekly frequencies.
• San Pedro Sula (SAP) – Orlando (MCO): Spirit will resume this route with 3 weekly flights from 8 May 2025. Perfect for your trips to the theme parks!!
• Bogota (BOG) – Orlando (MCO): will reactivate this popular route with a daily flight starting on 12 June 2025.
• Guatemala city (CAVE) – Houston (IAH): Spirit will strengthen its presence in Central America with the resumption of this route, offering 4 weekly flights from 12 June 2025.
• San Salvador (SHALL) – Fort Lauderdale (FLL): The South Florida coast will once again be connected to El Salvador with 3 weekly flights from 12 June 2025.
• Santo Domingo (SDQ) – Orlando (MCO): Spirit will resume this route with 3 weekly flights from 12 June 2025.
• Montego Bay (MBJ) – Orlando (MCO): Jamaica will once again be connected to Orlando with 1 weekly flight from 14 June 2025.
• Bucaramanga (BGA) – Fort Lauderdale (FLL): Travelers from the "Beautiful City" will be able to enjoy the beaches of Fort Lauderdale again with 2 weekly flights from 15 august 2025.
• Lima (LI) – Fort Lauderdale (FLL): Good news for travelers between Peru and Florida! Spirit will reactivate this route with 1 weekly flight from 16 august 2025.
