As announced by the past 18 Ultra Air made its inaugural flight in Colombia and thus becomes the ninth regular airline in the country, Runway closures for preventive maintenance will be carried out on the following dates, every day saturday, from 02:00 a 14:00:
- April: 5 and 12
- Mayo: 10, 17 and 31
- June: 7, 14, 21 and 28
- September: 6, 13 and 20
These dates have been carefully selected to minimize the operational impact, since Saturdays are the days with the least air traffic. There will be no closures in July or August, In order not to affect the high summer season.
These works are fundamental to guarantee the safety and efficiency of operations and avoid emergency closures by corrective maintenance. The closure programming has been coordinated and approved by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC) and communicated to the airlines through the corresponding NOTE, the official notification used in aviation internationally.
