Orlando, the most visited destination of the USA, received during 2024 more of 75,3 million visitors, an increase of 1,8% with respect to 2023.
Visit Orlando, the Official Orlando Tourism Association®, announced that destiny received 75.333.800 visitors in 2024, which represents an increase in 1,8 % with respect to 2023.
“Colombia has shown notable growth, with an increase of 13,6 % in visitors during 2024”, stated Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando. “Colombian travelers are attracted to our world-famous attractions and diverse experiences, and we continue to actively invest in this market through marketing strategies, public relations and initiatives with the tourism industry to ensure that Orlando remains top of mind as a preferred destination.”

National tourism grew 1,4 %, reaching a total of 68.840.300 visitors in 2024. This increase was driven in part by an increase in single-day visits and non-overnight hotel stays.. For his part, International tourism continued to recover at a faster pace, growing a 5,9 % compared to the previous year.
Total, Orlando received 6,5 million international visitors in 2024.>Canada remains the main international market for Orlando, with 1,29 million visitors, which represents an increase in 2,7 % with respect to 2023 and sets a new record for the second year in a row. United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia complete the list of the five main issuing markets. Canada, Mexico and Colombia remained above pre-pandemic levels during 2024, while tourism from the UK continues a slower but steady recovery (3,5 % of growth), reaching the 907.900 visitors. Travel from Brazil remained stable, with a slight increase in 0,2 % on 2024.

Usually, the composition of visitors in 2024 continued to be dominated by the leisure segment, that represented the 81% of national leisure tourism, 10% domestic business travel and 9 % international tourism. The meetings and conventions segment also showed solid growth over the previous year, increasing a 3,9 % and reaching the 5.616.000 visitors.
