ACI-LAC revealed that air transport passenger traffic in Latin America and the Caribbean grows more than expected and exceeds expectations of the 2025.

The Airports Council International Latin America and the Caribe (ACI-LAC) announces that passenger traffic in the region recorded a performance higher than projections for the year 2025. Preliminary data corresponding to the period from January to September indicate a growth of +5,43% compared to the same interval of 2024, exceeding the annual forecast of +4,1%.

Latin America grows more than expected

The results reflect the significant contribution of various markets. Argentina leads with an expansion of +13,5%, Followed by Brazil (+8,87%), Panama (+8%) and Peru (+7,1%). Mexico, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Chile and Colombia They also maintain a positive trajectory, reinforcing regional dynamism.

International traffic continues to be a pillar of recovery and expansion, with an increase of +4,9% in the period. The cargo segment also presented a consistent evolution, recording a growth of +2,45%.
