Visit Orlando, the Official Tourism Association® of Orlando, announced that destiny received 76,7 million visitors in 2025, an increase of 1,8 % compared to 2024 and the highest number of visitors in the history of the destination.
The announcement was made during Visit Orlando's annual National Travel and Tourism Week event at the Orange County Convention Center.
The number of national visitors grew by 2,2 %, reaching the 70,3 millions, also a record number. Visits by Florida residents increased by 3,4 %; However, the composition of the national market remained predominantly from outside the state. Overnight Visits Remained Strong, representing the 70 % of the national total, that is to say, 49,2 million travelers, which represents an interannual increase in 1,8 %. On an international level, the total reached 6,3 million in 2025, a decrease in 2,4 %, or approximately 156.000 any less, largely due to a drop in travel from Canada.
“Colombia recorded another record year in visitors to Orlando in 2025, with the arrival of 360.000 Travellers, which represents a year-on-year increase of 5%”, stated Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando. “This result reflects Orlando's appeal as a family-friendly destination.”, groups and leisure travelers, as well as the connections that we have strengthened in the Colombian market”.
Canada remained Orlando's main international market, despite a decrease in 13,3 % compared to 2024, with 1,1 million visitors in 2025. The United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina complete the list of the main international markets for the destination.
Several markets also reached new record levels, including United States, Mexico, Colombia and Japan, which partly contributed to offsetting Canada's decline. At the beginning of this year, Orlando International Airport launched its first direct passenger charter flights to Tokyo, marking Florida's first direct service to the Asia-Pacific region.

Usually, the profile of Orlando visitors in 2025 continued to lean towards leisure travel, with a 81 % of domestic leisure travelers, a 10 % of domestic business travelers and a 8 % of international visitors. The meetings and groups segment showed solid dynamism, with a year-on-year increase in 3,1 % until reaching the 5,8 million visitors, reinforcing Orlando's position as the nation's premier meetings destination.
