The most traditional and oldest training institution for air professionals, the flying club of Ecuador pilot school has renewed its operating permit based in Guayaquil.

Its base of operations and maintenance is located at the International Airport Jose Joaquin de Olmedo from the city of Guayaquil, southern zone general aviation.

History Aeroclub of Ecuador

Founded on 20 February 1931 as Aeroclub del Ecuador, but better known as "ACE", It is the oldest and most experienced civilian school in the country. months after its inception, specifically on thursday 8 October and with the presence of authorities and a large public, inaugurated what was then called the Aeroclub Aviation Field, which was located southwest of the city of Guayaquil.

This airfield had spacious hangars and also operated flights of the first private minor aviation planes in Ecuador that little by little were arriving. In this same space, the first civil aviation courses in the country were also taught., which kept ACE always at the forefront of pilot training.

Some years after, This center carried out the graduation of the first 15 pilots trained entirely at the Aeroclub, fact that the 22 of January of 1943.
