A comedy classic that is worth seeing multiple times. This movie, If the almost incredible case comes that you have never seen it, will make you laugh from start to finish with his teasing or nonsense about aviation. A movie that delivers 38 years, but that will never go out of style.

Talking about this movie could take several paragraphs or memes (there are hundreds of thousands on the internet), but it is better that they see it, just in case , dont do it.

Here is a great clarification, this movie is not fully about airplanes, but it does have great moments. The hostesses and planes from Panama give the AvGeek touch that I love about this movie. Possibly, the performances of Leonardo Dicaprio and Tom Hanks, make it entered this list.

Catch me if you can catch me if you can pelicula avgeek

  1. Missing Disney Pixar movie AIRPLANES…when you watch the bonus material on Blu-ray or DVD, there is a documentary by an aviation expert who was from the team of creators and writers; Jeffrey M. Howard.
It is one of the few movies that contains true aviation data, maneuvers, types of planes, etc, Besides being fun and it is a good way to inspire a child with aviation.

  2. I was looking for what I would have to see now that I got into this beautiful world, and it was nice to realize that I saw most <3

the mini series of 2 caps of the Spanair accident from 2008, called Flight IL 8714, It is very good and it is fully aeronautical, I don't think I saw it published. Found on youtube.

Good recommendations and I am going to see what I am missing
    Greetings!

  3. The movie premiered on Amazon Prime Video last week 7500, a thriller about a flight hijack in Europe, I saw it last night and it turned out very good, especially since the movie is shot from the cockpit of the plane, I recommend it, greetings Nicolás.

  4. Hello there
About airplane movies, I've been looking for one for a long time in which a pilot took aerial photographs and discovers that due to a manufacturing error, your camera film could show where an earthquake would occur. It must be from the '70s
And there was a series set in the cold war, where flights were made over Cuba in a Lockheed U2
If you can help me with that…
Greetings and recognition for your work…!!!

  5. Sorry for the inconvenience, but… I have a curiosity that, on the other hand, I am not able to find on the Internet. On Spanish television, in nineteen eighty-six, I think, could see a series on the principles of aviation, that captivated me. I am not an expert, nor is it a specific question for that, but… It was a beautiful way to start an adventure, at a time and with very limited means. Hence my fascination and the merit of it. Would you know something about that series? I think it was called Flaunders. Ah iiiiiiiiiii. Other movie :Con air, con Nicholas Cage.

  6. Hannibal Estrada

    Always (Richard Drayfuss) 1984
    Mercy mission
    Air America
Final countdown (USS Nimitz viaja a 1941)
    Buen dawns early lights (B52’s)
Two crazy people from the air (Palito Ortega)
    Beyond the sun (Jorge Newbery)

  7. Could be pushing tin (the life of air traffic controllers) very good, Hard to Kill 2 and one that also seems good to me is Knights of the Air, where you see the beginning of military aviation in the second world war…

  8. Great Comedy Airplane 1 & 2 in the 80s with Leslie Nielsen one of the main actors who became popular years later with The Naked Gun. Airplane 1 when flying from LA to Chicago with a B707 that its engines sounded like turboprops … Airplane 2 landing on the moon….

Yes, for all of us who are fans of aviation there are humorous movies, drama, romance and fiction for all tastes.
