The company Ecocopter Ecuador presented the first sanitary isolation capsule in the country for the transport of patients.
The company dedicated to the transport of cargo and highly complex air services, modernizes its fleet to attend transfers of patients with COVID-19. Ecocopter is the only company in the country (in civil and private air) that has this sanitary isolation capsule, approved and authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation with approval DGAC-DSOP-2020-3563-O.
As a consequence of the coronavirus pandemic, Aeromedical flights have become a fundamental means of transporting high-risk patients, where companies like Ecocopter, has decided to configure its helicopters to carry patients under the strict standards demanded by highly infectious diseases such as Covid-19.
“To carry out this type of highly complex transfers, we use our Airbus H125 helicopters that have high safety standards to carry out emergency procedures quickly and efficiently. As a company we aim, offer alternatives for emergency transfers safely in order to combat COVID-19 in Ecuador”, says Gustavo Junovich, General Manager Ecocopter Ecuador.
