The government and authorities of Ecuador propose a signed declaration for all travelers who enter the country through the country's airports by coronavirus.
Following an agreement reached between various institutions (MTOP, DGAC, EPMSA, Quiport and airlines) it was known that from this 10 march 2020 (date could change) all passengers arriving on international flights to Ecuador must present a signed statement regarding their travel history, current health status and location in the country.
Following the actions also taken in Colombia and Chile, who also ask their travelers for a similar document, Ecuador will apply an information form, which has the objective of improving the experience and attention to users in the Quito and Guayaquil Airports, who currently go through a one-to-one control process, causing delays of more than 2 hours per flight until they arrive at migration.
Declaration procedure
- Each passenger or family group arriving in the country must fill out the Traveler's Health Declaration Form, that will be delivered on board the aircraft of all airlines that have direct flights with Ecuador.
- At the exit of the plane, personnel from the Ministry of Public Health will receive each of the passenger forms.
- People with suspected symptoms of COVID-19 will be referred to the Sanitary Control Unit located inside the airport to be interviewed..
- People without suspected symptoms of COVID-19 will receive their Affidavit of Entry and will be able to follow Migration.
- People who do not present symptoms will submit their Traveler's Health Declaration Form and may continue to Migration for Airport greeting.. People who present respiratory symptoms will be placed in isolation and transferred to one of the hospitals designated by the Ministry of Public Health.

According to the form it says that I must give an address where I will stay the 21 days after my arrival… This means that I will be forced to stay 21 days in Guayaquil after my arrival ????

I do not see it well, it is the same as last time, what they have to do is take an instant covid test from every traveler that each traveler pays for when they arrive and if it comes out clean, it can happen instead of going to the hotel so they would be safer than taking their temperature
