How to be an Air Traffic Controller?

Paso 1 – Beginning of the courses

Paso 2 – Air Traffic Controller Training

Paso 5 – Requirements to perform functions

  • Pass the theoretical knowledge exam with a minimum percentage of seventy-five percent (75%).

  • Meet or prove satisfactory performance in the practical experience phase.
  • Completion of the Expertise Examination.

Requirements to be an Air Traffic Controller

General:

For admission to this course, a selection of applicants is previously made, who must meet the following requirements for Enrollment:

  1. Being Ecuadorian by birth.
  2. Aged between 18 and 25 years.
  3. Bachelor's degree in any specialty.
  4. Certification of knowledge of the English language.

Applicants selected as pre-approved for the training course must comply with the following:

  1. Meet the general requirements.
  2. Comply with the registration process.
  3. Pass the pre-selection exam for:
    1. General culture
    2. Exact Sciences
    3. English
  4. Pass the personal interview.

doctors:

  1. Pass the general medical exam at CEMAC.
  2. Pass psychological exams at CEMAC.
