Iberia requested to modify its operating permit for the regular international public passenger air transport service, cargo and regular mail with the non-stop direct route on the Madrid route – Guayaquil – Madrid with four weekly frequencies.

This operation is scheduled to start from next December, exactly on sunday 13 of said month, with Airbus A330 aircraft and potentially also Airbus A340-600 aircraft that are part of its current operating permit in Ecuador.

Schedules

The flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at the following times:

  • Flight IB-6461 will take off from Madrid at 12:20 hours and will land in Guayaquil at 18:10 hours with a duration of 11 hours and 50 direct flight minutes.
  • For the return from Guayaquil, flight IB-6460 will take off at 20:45 hours and will land the next day in Madrid at 13:55 hours with a duration of 11 hours and 10 direct flight minutes
