LATAM Airlines Group has been recognized as the best cabin service and as the best in-flight entertainment service by APEX.
“Best Cabin Service” and “Best Inflight Entertainment Service” in Latin America were the two APEX Passenger Choice awards that recognize the work done by LATAM Airlines Group in the travel experience. Notably, on 2019, the company announced a process to transform the travel experience of its passengers, with an investment of more than US$500 million.
APEX is a non-profit organization that makes 40 years evaluates and helps improve the air experience from the design, construction and installation of seating systems, entertainment and communications, and rooms at airports, among others.
APEX Airline Scores rank the inflight experience based on feedback from thousands of independently evaluated passengers. The Apex Tech Conference, made in Los Angeles, USA, was attended by the CEO of APEX, Joe Leader; and by Juan Ordoñez, Service director on board, LATAM Airlines Group.
“These awards are a direct recognition of the passengers, to the crews who serve the millions of passengers a year. To get an idea, Every minute somewhere in the world comes a Latam flight. And they confirm that we are well focused on improving the experience of our passengers. Recently, We launched our new Premium Economy cabin, a type of service that will be available on all our flights operated by single-aisle aircraft. Hoy, We can say that there is no other airline in the region that offers as many cabin options as LATAM”, said Juan Ordoñez, Service director on board, LATAM Airlines Group.
