This is the approved protocol for admission to the Ecuador of national or international passengers from abroad starting the 1 June 2020.

Los vuelos comerciales regulares de pasajeros se reinician en Ecuador y con ello también, nuevos un nuevo protocolo sanitario para el ingreso al país, permanencia y salida del aislamiento preventivo obligatorio durante la vigente del estado de excepción:
- Se solicitará a los viajeros el resultado negativo de una prueba PCR, realizada como máximo hasta 7 días antes del viaje. En caso de que en el país de origen no se pueda realizar la prueba de PCR, the passenger, al arribo al Ecuador se someterá a la prueba que la Autoridad Sanitaria determine. El pasajero deberá aceptar esta condición antes de embarcarse.
- Passengers dutyán llenar y firmar, prior to disembarkation, the Traveler's File, what to beá entregada al personal de salud del MSP que a su arribo se encargará de la respectiva valoración métip.
- Immediately afterés de llegar al Ecuador el viajero deberá cumplir con el APO, themselvesún los lineamientos operativos establecidos por la Autoridad Sanitaria, por un período de catorce (14) días. El conteo de los días de aislamiento preventivo obligatorio es a partir del ingreso al país (14 días 13 nights).
- Todas las personas nacionales y extranjeras residentes que formen parte de los grupos de atención prioritaria realizarán el APO en domicilio. El personal del MSP se encargará de definir los grupos de atención prioritaria al momento del arribo.
- Todas las personas nacionales y extranjeras residentes que no se encuentren dentro de los grupos de atención prioritaria que cuenten con una prueba PCR negativa realizarán su APO en domicilio.
- Todas las personas nacionales y extranjeras residentes que no se encuentren dentro de los grupos de atención prioritaria y no cuenten con una prueba PCR negativa, accomplishán su APO en alojamientos temporales.
- Las personas extranjeras no residentes realizarán su APO en alojamientos temporales.

- The change of place of APO, for any circumstance, to beá solicitado documentadamente al PMU. The resolutionón respectiva se informará a los solicitantes y a las partes involucradas en el proceso.
- En caso de violación del APO y de proporcionar información falsa en la Declaración del Viajero, los viajeros se sujetarán a las sanciones administrativas, civiles y penales que correspondan según lo establecido en la normativa vigente.
- A partir del séptimo día, la persona nacional o extranjera residente podrá solicitar realizarse la prueba PCR en los laboratorios acreditados por la ACESS (at on cost), if the result is negative, la persona podrá culminar el tiempo de aislamiento preventivo obligatorio en su domicilio. La persona interesada en optar por esta alternativa deberá enviar una solicitud al correo electrónico [email protected].
- En todo el procedimiento se garantizará el ejercicio de los derechos de los ciudadanos sujetos a este protocolo.
- Los PMU serán los encargados de coordinar las acciones con los diferentes actores y Coordinaciones Zonales de Salud para que este protocolo se aplique dentro de sus competencias, being these National PMU in Quito (todo el país) and PMU Guayaquil (Guayaquil).
