The Ecuadorian airline Aeroregional points to growth with international flights with routes to Lima, Bogota, Cali, Mexico, Cancun and Panama.
With official request made to the National Council of Civil Aviation of Ecuador – CNAC, the company Aeroregional will seek to continue growing, but this time with international flights, where this order was approved on 17 from December to 2020.
In this way, expanding its already existing international operation, but which is currently carried out under charter mode, Aeroregional made the following request to be granted the operating permit for the provision of regular international public air transport service for passengers, combined freight and mail on the following routes:

Aeroregional international flights
As we know, the airline currently has two Boeing aircraft 737-500, with which it operates on its current domestic routes to Loja and Coca (plus its international charter operation to Mexico and Panama), for these new international routes an increase in equipment is expected.
These two additional teams that could be officially known, will also be of the Boeing family 737 and would be arriving in the coming months subject to government approval from both Ecuador, as well as the rest of the countries towards which they seek to operate.
The different proposed routes seek to cover the spaces left, for example, by Avianca to Lima., Cancún by Interjet and Cali by Tame EP, while he would enter to compete in Bogotá, Panama and Mexico, although with the support of the charter operation that has been positioning itself for some time in the last two.
We will keep reporting.

Interesting, there is a significant increase in routes and fleet, hopefully this growth will help to have better internal connectivity, which has been significantly reduced with the exit from the market of TAME EP.
Seriously, in the future Aeroregional will operate with 757 /767/a321/a330… awesome if so… How great that a low-cost airline is going to operate large international routes with busy frequencies... excellent publication 👏
The indicated fleet, is it a projection or a maybe, does not mean that they go, necessarily, operating.
Thanks, good report, it is good to hear that the airline is going to acquire good equipment
