The company Ecuadorian Airlines reported on the possible date on which they would begin their regular operations on domestic flights from Ecuador.
As indicated in a new statement published on 18 of January of 2021, Ecuatoriana Airlines continues in its process of certification and obtaining the air operator certificate.
In said text, The airline makes reference that it continues to advance in the respective stages and that they expect to conclude them in June and start operations in july 2021, all subject to the progress of the different phases.
The statement, among other details, indicates the following:
- We will begin our hiring process at the end of April, with our initial flight crews beginning training in May and ready to fly in July.
- Our corporate identity, logo and brand are also very close to completion, and soon they will be announced and thus show the world the Ecuadorian Airlines brand.
- Our sales and marketing team, together with our CEO, have started visiting local municipalities, government authorities and chambers of commerce to provide updates on the progress of Ecuatoriana and the destinations we plan to operate. The first city and province we visited was Esmeraldas. We will be in Cuenca next week and hope to visit many more cities soon.

- We will soon present the Ecuatoriana Airlines Founders Club Membership Program at the end of January. This exclusive club 10,000 partners will have three levels of participation: $1000,00, $2500,00 and $5000,00.
