Valentine's Day: Avianca Cargo reported that it transported more than 14 thousand tons of various types of flowers from Ecuador and Colombia.

Between 18 of in January and 10 February 2021, Avianca Cargo mobilized 14.200 tons of flowers for Valentine's Day celebration, higher in 6% to the volume of flowers transported for this party the previous year and consolidating itself as the most important operator in the market for this season

Historically, this has been the season with the highest volume of cargo transported to destinations such as Miami., San Juan, amsterdam, Los Angeles and New York. We adjust the network to fully support the growth of our clients, fulfilling the 100% of the capacity promised to support the export of flowers from Colombia and Ecuador. For this season, we renovated our cold room in Miami, adapting it with the latest technology for the conservation of perishable products and thus provide support to our customers. Additional, with the adjustments and improvements in processes, we managed to cut delivery times at destination. It was a successful season, where we show levels of growth in our indicators, but more importantly, with an excellent team, committed and dedicated, we offered our clients a professional and reliable service thanks to the planning and synchronized work of the different areas within the organization”.
