The Government of Venezuela updated and modified the requirements to enter international flights to said country, now making this process even more complicated with higher demands on travelers.
Although Venezuela maintains limited connectivity with the world and only flights with Panama, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Bolivia and Türkiye, these flights are key to migratory and economic movement.
Advancing the global recovery of the airline industry, where it seeks little by little to make the restrictions more flexible, some governments have tightened the measures contrary to the recommendations of IATA or ICAO, as the case of Venezuela where its new measures indicate:

- flights from bolivia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, Fed. From Russia or Turkey;
- humanitarian flights, medical evacuation and repatriation.
- Passengers entering or transiting through Venezuela must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued at most 72 hours before arrival.
- This does not apply to passengers under the age of 1 year.
- Passengers must register online prior to departure at http://pasedesalud.casalab.com.ve/. This will generate a QR code that must be presented on arrival.
- Passengers must obtain an airport entry clearance before disembarking.
- Passengers are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival.
- Airline crew are subject to quarantine until their next flight.
The reopening of new routes and international destinations to and from Venezuela is expected in the coming weeks, depending on the progress of the pandemic in the country and the world., Meanwhile, special flights are also operated to destinations such as Guayaquil, Quito, Lima, Buenos Aires and others.
