The group LATAM Airlines anuncia que ajustará su proyección operaciones para el mes de abril llegando esta a un 25% in front of 2019.

The operational passenger projection of LATAM for April 2021 it is estimated to reach a 25% (measured in available seat-kilometres – ASK) compared to the same month of 2019, en un contexto antes de la pandemia. La operación acompaña a la demanda, que se ha visto más afectada por nuevos cierres de fronteras y restricciones a pasajeros debido al actual impacto del COVID 19 in the region.

El grupo prevé aproximadamente 400 daily national and international flights in the month, connecting 114 destinations in 15 countries. While, la división de Carga tiene programados para abril más de 1.150 flights on cargo planes.

All projections are subject to the evolution of the pandemic, and to the travel restriction in the countries where it operates LATAM.

During March 2021, passenger traffic (measured in rented passenger-kilometres – RPK) it was of 22,6% en relación al mismo período del año 2019, based on a measured operation in ASK (available seat kilometers) of a 31,5% compared to March 2019. This implied that the load factor decreased 23,3 percentage points, arriving to 59,5%.
