Avianca announces the start of a new route, will have direct flights between Bogota and Toronto on Canada.
After announcing the launch and resumption of 12 additional routes to provide more connectivity options in the upcoming peak season, Avianca confirmed the exit to sales from the new Bogotá-Toronto route that will begin operating in December 2021.
From Bogotá direct to Toronto
Avianca will operate 6 flights per week between Bogota and Toronto on their Airbus A320 family aircraft, that have the capacity to 150 passengers. This will represent an offer of about 1.000 weekly chairs for clients.

The flights of this new route, subject to government approval, will operate at the following times:

From Medellín new route to San Andrés
Avianca continues to expand the connectivity of travelers in Antioquia. The airline also announced the sale of the new Medellín route – San Andrés and the reactivation of its operation between Medellin and Bucaramanga from December.
The airline confirmed that it will operate 6 weekly flights between Medellín and San Andrés with an offer of about 1.000 chairs per week; and 14 weekly flights between Medellín and Bucaramanga with a total of more than 2.000 weekly chairs available. The two routes will be operated on Airbus A320 family aircraft.
The advertised routes are now available for sale in the mobile application, the website, the physical points of sale, and through travel agencies.
Currently, Avianca offers its customers one of the most robust networks in Latin America with 99 routes, more of 2.680 flights per week and about 400.000 weekly chairs.
