What's New at Cirrus 2022 G6 SR
The G6 SR model of the year 2022 it is the fastest to date with sleeker wing and tail surfaces and redesigned wheel pants, resulting in true airspeeds of up to 9 fastest knots. New model ice panel transition seams are smoothed and wheel pant tolerances are tightened to reduce drag. These aerodynamic refinements contribute to both lower fuel consumption and faster flight segments..
Added convenience for pilots and passengers
Trunk access becomes easier with new remote unlock capability and keyless entry. Lock and unlock the luggage door with the key fob, then the door can be easily opened with the push of a button. The door opens more than 90 degrees, stays open when charging and has been redesigned to feature a deeper pocket that can easily accommodate two quarts of oil.
With safety in mind, the G6 SR features Cirrus Aircraft Spectra™ illuminated steps that offer better visibility of steps and the ground for safer entry and exit in dark or low-light conditions. The puddle light logo’ of Cirrus screened on the ramp adds an extra touch of style.
What's more, a new multifunctional USB panel features USB-A and USB-C ports that keep mobile devices charged, such as phones or laptops, throughout the trip.
Advanced Aircraft Insights with Cirrus IQ™
As a novelty for 2022, Cirrus IQ improves aircraft connectivity and provides greater insight. The Cirrus IQ status screen has been redesigned to include the aircraft model designation along with a new navigation bar showing aircraft status, inspection intervals and warranty expiration.
Maintenance Minder tracks upcoming inspections and sends notifications when they are due. when flying, Flight hour meter automatically updates inspection cards providing a progress bar and countdown to the next inspection event.
