Flights are now on sale LATAM Ecuador that will operate between Quito and Bogota from next March.

The flights are loaded into the airline's web system to start from the 1 april 2022, but all the information that I will share with you below is subject to change as the lawsuit develops and operational situation before the Omicron variant.

After the announcement of the start of this planned route in the middle of last year by the hand of LATAM Colombia, This long-awaited and demanded route will be materialized by the subsidiary LATAM Ecuador on Airbus A319 aircraft configured on international routes for 138 seating (12 in Premium Economy and 126 en Economy).

LATAM Ecuador flights between Quito and Bogota

starting on friday 1 of April, LATAM Ecuador will inaugurate its new international route flying to Bogotá with 5 initial weekly frequencies.

Frequencies

Flights will operate on the following days:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, friday and sunday.

Schedules

As for schedules we have available:

Quito – Bogota

  • On Monday, Wednesday and Friday takes off from Quito at 07:00 hours and lands in Bogotá at 8:30 hours with an hour and 30 minutes long.
  • On Tuesdays and Sundays it takes off from Quito at 17:15 hours and lands in Bogotá at 18:45 hours with an hour and 30 minutes long.

Bogota – Quito

  • On Monday, Wednesday and Friday takes off from Bogotá at 09:37 hours and lands in Quito at 11:15 hours with an hour and 38 minutes long.
  • On Tuesdays and Sundays it takes off from Bogotá at 20:07 hours and lands in Quito at 21:45 hours with an hour and 38 minutes long.

Prices

The prices that are currently on the web are:

  • From $278 round trip including taxes and fees.
    • Only includes personal item
    • Other promotional rates may become available

It should be noted, that the flights would become daily (on demand) from the 7 next July activating the flights on Thursdays and Saturdays.

    I hope that latam can continue on this path, there is a lot of competition with Wingo and Avianca but it is good that there is this competition and above all more options for users. Good post
