Habiendo sido esta ruta históricamente una de las más importantes de la red de Avianca, the airínea the 10 de mayo pasado solicitó ante la Unidad Administrativa Especial de la Aeronáutica Civil las siguientes rutas:
- Bogotaá – Caracas and back with 7 weekly frequencies with third and fourth air freedoms.
- Bogotaá – Cusco and return with 7 weekly frequencies with third and fourth air freedoms.

Flights to both Caracas and Cusco, operateían con aviones Airbus A319, Airbus A320 y Airbus A320neo, emphasizing that this does not mean the imminent start of operations, but yesí demuestra una intención of the aerolínea en el momento que las condiciones de mercado y operativas lo permitan, start these routes.
