Keep it up, little by little and still some countries slowly, the release of the health requirements for entry to the different countries and on this occasion the Spanish government once again advances this concept by making the requirements for travelers on international flights more flexible.

Spain entry requirements on international flights

Via a new Interior Order in force since 21 May 2022 restrictions on the unvaccinated are lifted. In other words, from this date any person regardless of the nationality or place of origin of the flight can enter Spain with only ONE of the following options:

  • Vaccination certificate 2 dose o 1 dose if it is janssen or if the disease has passed. Validity: +14 days and not more than 9 months. This is encoded as 2/2, O 1/1, O well
  • Booster shot 3 dose or two doses if one is janssen unlimited validity. This is encoded as 3/3, 3/1, O 2/1, O well
  • recovery certificate +11 and less 180 days, O well
  • PCR performed within the 72 hours prior to departure, O well
  • Antigens carried within 24 hours prior to departure
  • under 12 years, or persons in transit exempt from all
  • On duty crews included in position exempt from all

Passengers belonging to the Schengen Zone have been released from presenting any documents and restrictions related to Covid.

Vaccines accepted

EMA/OMS. A mix of vaccines with a vaccine not approved by the WHO is also accepted as long as the last dose supplied is one of those approved by the WHO or EMA..

  • The vaccination certificate with complete schedule, of minors 18 has no expiration date. They do not need a booster dose

  • To travel to Spain if you have an EU CCD, or EU equivalent it is not necessary to fill in the SpTH health control form.

  • People in transit and minors 12 years DO NOT have to present CCD or QR of SPTH.
