Etihad Airways you have confirmed your order with Airbus of seven freighters A350F new generation, following their earlier engagement announced at the Singapore Air Show. Freighters will enhance Etihad's cargo capacity by deploying the most efficient cargo aircraft available on the market.

With this A350F order, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates expands its relationship with Airbus and adds to your existing order for the larger passenger version of the A350-1000, five of which have already been delivered.

Tony Douglas, Executive Director of the Etihad Aviation Group, said:

This additional cargo capacity will support the unprecedented growth we are experiencing in the Etihad Cargo division.. Airbus has developed a remarkable fuel-efficient aircraft that, together with the A350-1000 of our passenger fleet, supports our commitment to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050”.

Etihad has also signed a long-term agreement for flight hours services (FHS) from Airbus to support your entire A350 fleet, maintain aircraft performance and optimize reliability. This marks the first agreement for an Airbus FHS contract for an A350 fleet in the Middle East..

As part of the world's most modern long-range family, the A350F offers a high level of similarity to the passenger versions of the A350. With a payload capacity of 109 tons, the A350F can serve all markets of load. The aircraft features a large cargo door on the main deck, with optimized fuselage length and capacity around industry standard pallets and containers.

more than 70% of the A350F airframe is made from advanced materials, resulting in a takeoff weight 30 tons lighter and generates at least one 20% less consumption of combustible and emissions than its current closest competitor. The A350F fully complies with the enhanced CO₂ emission standards of the OACI which will come into force in 2027. Including today's engagement, the A350F has obtained 31 firm orders from six customers.

The A350F meets the impending wave of large freighter replacements and evolving environmental requirements, shaping the future of air transport. The A350F will be powered by the latest technology, Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 fuel-efficient engines combustible.
