Frederico Pedreira takes over as Deputy CEO and Gabriel Oliva is appointed Chief Operating Officer, strengthening the team led by Adrian Neuhauser in Avianca.
Hoy Avianca announced important changes to its management team. For his part, Frederico Pedreira who served as Chief Operating Officer since 2021 will now be the Deputy CEO of the company and will immediately be in charge of vital processes to Avianca such as: operations, human talent, technology, corporate communications, customer promise and institutional relationships.
At the same time, Gabriel Oliva, takes over as Chief Operating Officer of Avianca, also remaining CEO of Avianca Cargo. In his new role he will lead the maintenance areas, security, network and ground operations, service delivery, airports, cabin crew and pilots, while continuing to lead the transformation of the cargo business. In the leadership of Avianca Cargo, Diogo Elias, Senior Vice President of Cargo, will assume the day-to-day operation of this unit, developing and executing the growth strategy that has been outlined in terms of network, fleet, customer promise, efficiency and people and technology.
Neuhauser will continue as Avianca's CEO and thanks to these promotions, that will strengthen the team even more, will be able to continue leading strategic projects of Grupo Abra.
