The Dominican airline Arajet does not tire of growing and announced the upcoming launch of its new route towards Chicago in the USA.
Arajet announced the launch of its new route to the USA, this time dealing with the city of Chicago, to which travelers will be able to connect from the Punta Cana International Airport, the airline announced on Tuesday.
Arajet will fly to Chicago
From 15 of November, Arajet route operations will begin Punta Cana – O’Hare, with flights three days a week. Sales of flights from Chicago and Punta Cana will be available starting at 10:00 today's morning and can be purchased from $117 dollars per section, as reported by the company.
Arajet began operating flights to USA, being Chicago the fifth city to which you will fly from the Dominican Republic, after boston, Miami, New York and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The company has financial backing from Bain Capital and Griffin Global Asset Management.
Schedules
The schedules of the three weekly flights will operate on the following days and times:
- Flight DM5420 takes off from Punta Cana at 05:47 am and lands in Chicago at 08:57 am behind 5 hours and 10 minutes on Saturdays.
- Flight DM5420 takes off from Punta Cana at 06.00 pm and lands in Chicago at 09:10 pm after 5 hours and 10 minutes on Sundays.
- Flight DM5420 takes off from Punta Cana at 07:40 pm and lands in Chicago at 10:50 pm after 5 hours and 10 minutes on Tuesdays.
- Flight DM5421 takes off from Chicago at 10:27 am and lands in Punta Cana at 05:12 pm after hours and 45 minutes on Saturdays.
- Flight DM5421 takes off from Chicago at 03:30 am and lands in Punta Cana at 10:15 am behind 4 hours and 45 minutes on Mondays.
- Flight DM5421 takes off from Chicago at 04:35 am and lands in Punta Cana at 11:20 am behind 4 hours and 45 minutes on Wednesdays.
The airline's expansion to the United States comes after the entry into force in December of the bilateral Open Skies agreement between the Dominican Republic and the United States, which eliminates certain restrictions on flights between both countries.
