After approval by the authorities, Copa Airlines announced that it is restarting its flights to Venezuela, initially flying only to Caracas.
More of 10 months after the suspension by Venezuelan decision of the 31 July 2024, air activity is somewhat normalized between Venezuela and the main hub of international connections in Latin America, Panama.
From Tuesday 27 May 2025, Copa Airlines will restart its air operations between Panama and Venezuela, after receiving authorization from the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
Cup restart flights to Venezuela little by little
Initially, Copa Airlines will reconnect Venezuela with the rest of Latin America, through the Hub de Las Américas® located in Panama City with a daily flight to and from Caracas from 27 of May, adding a second daily flight from the 23 of June:
