ATR, The main world regional aircraft manufacturer, announced that UNI Air, group company EVA Air, has placed a firm order for 19 ATR 72-600, along with three additional purchase rights.
This is the largest order of ATR to an airline from 2017 and the second direct order from UNI Air since 2011, when the Taiwanese airline acquired 10 ATR 72-600. This shows the trust of UNI Air and its affiliated company EVA Air in turboprops ATR to efficiently serve the Taiwanese domestic market. Deliveries are scheduled between 2027 and 2032.

These 19 new aircraft will replace and expand UNI Air's current fleet, made of 14 ATR 72-600, which represents a significant step in the modernization and growth of the airline. Operating mainly from Songshan Airport in Taipei, UNI Air plays a vital role for both local residents, tourists and companies, by providing essential and reliable air connectivity to 11 Destinations, including the Kinmen Islands, Penghu y Matsu, using ATR turboprops.
