The consulting firm OAG revealed its classification of the busiest air routes by seats offered 2025, in which Asia continues to lead.
The analysis is based on global airline schedule data. OAG and provides an overview of global route performance and trends.
Busiest routes 2025
the path of Jeju to Seoul Gimpo is the busiest of 2025, with 14,4 million scheduled seats, a modest increase in 1 % with respect to 2024. There is still room for growth in this route, which is still a 17 % to recover their level of capacity 2019. Seven airlines operate on this highly competitive route.

Regarding cross-border flights, Hong Kong (HKG) – Taipei (TPE) It is the busiest route 2025, with 6,8 million seats, followed by Cairo (CAI) – yeda (JED) with 5,8 million seats and Kuala Lumpur (KUL) – Singapur Changi (SIN) with 5,6 millions.
