Arajet continues to make history in Dominican aviation by becoming the first Dominican airline to exceed one million passengers transported during the first six months of a year, consolidating its position as the main air operator in the country and one of the fastest growing in the region.
According to statistics from the Civil Aviation Board (JAC), Arajet transported 922,593 passengers between January and June 2026 on flights with origin and destination in the Dominican Republic. Added to this figure are more than 100,000 connecting passengers through its operations centers in Santo Domingo and Punta Cana, thus exceeding one million passengers transported during the first half of the year, an unprecedented milestone for a Dominican airline.

With this performance, Arajet is positioned as the third most important air operator in the Dominican Republic, by concentrating the 8.4 % of the total number of passengers who entered and left the country during the first half of 2026. in addition, the airline transported the 92 % of all passengers transported by Dominican airlines, reaffirming its leadership within the national airline industry.
The JAC statistics also show the strength of the international network of Arajet. The United States consolidates itself as the airline's main market in passenger volume, followed by Colombia and Argentina, reflecting the growing demand from both the tourism segment and business traffic and the Dominican diaspora.
Regarding the routes, Buenos Aires was the destination with the highest volume of passengers during the period, followed by New York, Miami, Medellin and Bogota, markets that continue to register strong demand and that consolidate Arajet as a key player in connectivity between the Dominican Republic and the American continent.
