from the east 1 of September, los Boeing 767 of LATAM Ecuador return to operate their regular flights from Guayaquil a Madrid, New York and Lima.

From 10 March of this, long haul flights LATAM Ecuador were operated by the Spanish company Wamos with its Airbus A330 aircraft and even, a Boeing 747-400 made some flights.

All this, due to the support that the airline had to give to the international operation of the LATAM Airlines Group while several of the Boeing aircraft 787 are in preventive maintenance defined by their manufacturer, Rolls Royce.

From the first of September, the operation of LATAM Airlines Ecuador resumes its normality, reincorporating two Boeing aircraft into its fleet 767 with capacity for 238 passengers (two types of cabin, Premium Business y Economy) and on-board entertainment system on individual screens

The reincorporation of international flights from Ecuador on Boeing aircraft 767 is the result of the reincorporation of some Boeing 787 of the LATAM Group that were out of service due to preventive maintenance of their Rolls-Royce engines.

  1. The new seats will finally make the business class of Latam Ecuador competitive in terms of long-haul flights. I would even say that they are better than those offered by KLM or Avianca, since they will have an exit to the corridor in each seat, and they are wider than those used by Avianca giving more space when lying down. Too bad it's on such old planes. (As for the model, the teams themselves are relatively young since they were among the last 767 on leaving the factory line)

with the new seats, and if they fix their website that shows disastrous routes compared to third party search engines, would consider, even despite losing platinum status, exchange my KLM loyalty for Latam.

    1. Not really the Boeings 767 of LATAM Group are very young they were the last to leave the factory in 2010-2012 , I hope they can add more B767 to increase their services to Madrid (MAD) and open roads like Miami (MY) and Barcelona (BCN)
