Since December the Venezuelan Laser arrives in Guayaquil from Caracas with initially 3 weekly flights in MD-83 aircraft and its variants.

The airline founded in 1993 will start flights to Guayaquil from the capital of Venezuela starting the 17 from December to 2018, airline sources confirmed, with 3 weekly flights on mondays, thursday and saturday, to return on Tuesdays, friday and sunday.

These new flights, will be the second direct connection between the two cities together with the flights from Avior Airlines, pending a direct connection between Caracas and Quito, which operated Tame until the beginning of this year.

With its fleet made up of 13 aircraft in McDonnell Douglas MD-81 versions, McDonnell ouglas MD-82 y McDonnell Douglas MD-83, has begun the process of obtaining a route before the aeronautical authority of Ecuador, the same one that was approved on 19 last november:

In the request for the granting of an operating permit for the provision of the air transport service, public, international, regular, passenger, cargo and mail combined, the airline indicates that it requests to operate until 7 weekly frequencies between Maiquetía (Caracas, Venezuela) and Guayaquil with rights of third and fourth freedoms of the air.

for the operation, the airline requests that the operation of the following aircraft be authorized:

• Airbus A319 y A320.
• Boeing 737-700 and 800.
• Boeing 737-300, 400 and 500
• McDonnell Douglas MD-80, 81, 82 and 83.

Despite the list of aircraft, it is known that the airline operates, for now, McDonnell Douglas aircraft only, but it opens the door for future new additions to your fleet.

Still without an exact start day for the first flight, the airline is in the final stage of defining the operation plan in Guayaquil, so soon we will be able to know more details such as costs, days of operation and hours.
