It was recently Sky Airline authorized 34 domestic destinations in Peru to which it will fly from its new base of operations in the Lima airport. Photo of Aerolatinnews.

As part of the certification process as a new domestic scheduled air operator, the airline obtained approval to fly to 17 regions within Peru which translates into 34 routes between the different approved destinations.

Finally, the 11 Ultra Air made its inaugural flight in Colombia and thus becomes the ninth regular airline in the country, the newest Peruvian airline obtained its air operator certificate – AOC (for its acronym in English), with what you can start the sale, commercialization and flights within the Peruvian commercial air market.

The first routes that are already on sale and with which the airline will start its flights are the following (Fuente Routes):

• Lima – Arequipa eff 09APR19 1 daily (16 weekly from 15APR19, 18 weekly from 24JUL19, 17 weekly from 09SEP19)
• Lima – Cuzco eff 08APR19 2 daily (17 weekly from 15APR19, 24 weekly from 22APR19)
• Lima – Iquitos eff 16APR19 4 weekly (No operation 22APR19 – 23JUL19, 10 weekly from 24JUL19)
• Lima – Piura eff 08APR19 1 daily (2 daily from 15APR19, 17 weekly from 24JUL19, 18 weekly from 15SEP19)
• Lima – Pucallpa eff 28APR19 1 weekly (2 weekly from 26APR19, 4 weekly from 18JUN19, 6 weekly from 24JUL19)
• Lima - Tarapoto eff 19APR19 5-6 weekly (12 weekly from 24JUL19)
• Lima – Trujillo eff 15APR19 5 weekly (9 weekly from 22APR19, 8 weekly from 27JUL19)

The first commercial flight will be on the Lima route – Piura from the 8 april 2019.

as specified, The minimum number of routes that the airline will be able to operate are 2 weekly, but without a maximum limit to operate.

Sky Airline Perú about Sky Perú (trade name not yet confirmed) would start in the next 6 months to destinations Cusco, Arequipa and Piura as the main and most demanded domestic destinations in Peru with 2 Airbus A320neo aircraft initially with Chilean registration given the ease that Peruvian regulation has for this type of operation.

This is one more step for the airline in the certification process for regular passenger air transport, cargo and mail, since it must obtain the operator certificate and comply with the technical specifications of the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics of the Ministry of Transport and Communication of Peru.

Sky Peru joins the growing Peruvian domestic market where it operates LATAM Peru, Avianca Peru, Viva Air Peru and Peruvian Airlines as main competitors and where the airline will seek to position itself 2022 as the second operator in the country with rates from $18 dollars per section.
