The Ecuadorian airline Aeroregional certified to operate regular domestic flights in Ecuador.
After having successfully completed all the certification phases, from today, Ecuador has a new alternative to fly within the country.
What is already the fourth regular domestic national airline, completed its certification process and obtained the AOC Operator certificate under part 121, which empowers it from now on to be able to start marketing flights under a fixed itinerary on the approved routes that it has in its operating permit.
Aeroregional Routes
At the time of this publication and pending update by the airline, In its operating permit, the company has the following approved routes:
- Quito y/o Cuenca – Guayaquil y viceversa con hasta 6 weekly frequencies.
- Quito – Guayaquil – Cuenca y viceversa con hasta 4 weekly frequencies.
- Quito – Santa Rosa and vice versa with up to 2 weekly frequencies.

Beginning of operations
The airline announced that its tentative date for the start of regular operations will be 1 July 2019, subject of course, at the beginning of the commercial sale of the spaces.
Flota Aeroregional
The airline currently has two aircraft of the Boeing model 737-500 with license plates HC-CUH and HC-CTF, both capable of 129 passengers in a single class. With these aircraft you will also maintain your domestic and international charter operation in which it flies for private companies and national tourists to the most popular destinations for Ecuadorians, thus ensuring a diversification of your business in favor of financial profitability.
Additional information not yet confirmed indicates the intention to Aeroregional in the coming months to add more aircraft to the fleet with Boeing model aircraft or even, Bombardier CRJ.

Although there are no official confirmed rates yet, the intention of the airline to operate under the low cost concept is known, without ruling out that by promotional introduction, there are rates lower than the single fixed rate with which Aeroregional plans to operate.
