The airline American Airlines began selling its new flights to Quito and Guayaquil from Dallas – Fort Worth.
With what will mean the return of the route between Dallas and the Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport suspended in August 2017 and a totally new route to Guayaquil, the main North American airline already sells this destination still subject to government approval by Ecuador.
Flights from Dallas to Quito will start on 18 December and to Guayaquil on 19 with a daily flight to each destination with Airbus A319 aircraft, remembering that initially the route would operate with 4 flights and 3 weekly flights respectively, but that finally the growth of the Ecuadorian international market and the incentives of both airports, motivated the airline to expand its presence in the country substantially with a daily flight to the two main airports in the country.
